Some of your questions answered
Is Air-Plan approved for navigation?
No. Air-Plan is a planning and operations tool, not certified navigation equipment. Always check the AIP, NOTAMs and current charts before you fly.
What does it cost?
Nothing while Air-Plan is in early access.
Does the map work without signal?
Yes. Download the map and navigation data for your area before you go and the map keeps working offline. Weather and live traffic need a connection.
Can I bring my existing logbook?
Yes. Import from Skylog or a CSV file, and export your whole logbook as CSV whenever you like.
Which flight time limitation schemes are supported?
UK CAP 371 and EASA, with settings for your operator’s own reporting times and split duty.
Who can see my logbook?
You can, and so can the admins and managers of any organisation you belong to.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Air-Plan runs in any modern browser. On a tablet or phone you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
